Integrating Climate Action into Youth Education: Building a Sustainable Future Together

Our flagship project, ICAYE-BSFT, is an Erasmus+ Small-Scale Partnership in Adult Education (KA210-ADU) co-funded by the European Union. Running successfully from December 2024 to June 2026 , this initiative is designed to promote sustainability, digital transformation, and climate literacy.

Our European Consortium

Associação Círculo Vital is incredibly proud to serve as the Project Coordinator for this international effort. To bring this vision to life, we work alongside two exceptional partner organizations:

  • Para la inteligencia social – PLIS (Spain)
  •  Bilge Gençlik Eğitim Derneği – BİLGED (Türkiye)

Project Results:
The Open Educational Resource (OER) Trainer’s Pack

A major milestone of this partnership is the collaborative development of our OER Trainer’s Pack. This comprehensive, open-access toolkit provides adult educators, youth workers, and community facilitators with the resources they need to foster environmental awareness and behavioral change.

The curriculum is structured around four core educational modules:

  • Module 1: Climate Literacy and Sustainability Basics – Exploring the scientific foundations of climate change and the environmental, social, and economic pillars of sustainability.
  • Module 2: Green Skills for Daily Life and Community – Developing practical competencies for environmentally responsible living and community building.
  • Module 3: Digital Tools for Climate Action – Leveraging technology, digital storytelling, and collaborative platforms for environmental advocacy.
  • Module 4: From Learning to Action (Planning Local Initiatives) – Guiding educators and learners in designing, planning, and implementing concrete, local environmental micro-projects
